Books-A-Million, Inc. announced today that it will soon be bringing its tradition of selling great books at low prices to Richmond, Virginia. The company is opening a location in the West Broad Village, which is managed and developed by Unicorp National Development.
“We are thrilled to have Books-A-Million as part of the West Broad Village development,” said Chuck Whittall, owner of West Broad Village. “They will be a huge asset to the other retailers and restaurants of West Broad Village and we believe Books-A-Million will become a gathering place within this community of over 1,800 on-site residents, the on-site hotel guests, and the overall Short Pump communities.”
Books-A-Million selected the West Broad location based on its knowledge of this growing market, having operated in the Richmond area since 1991. Books-A-Million has 19 other locations in Virginia.

There will be twenty four teams accepted in the 14 / 15/ 16 /17/ 18 and under divisions and sixteen teams in the 12 and under division.

The legendary Elsbeary Hobbs, best known for his unique, deep, bass voice, performed some of the greatest Drifters' hits. In his prize-winning book, Skeletons on the Zahara, Dean King recounts the misfortunes of the shipwrecked crew. They were captured by Arab slave traders and marched across the desert, subjected to heat, starvation, and cruelty. At last the survivors made it back to the coast where they were ransomed and freed.
